Hey guys, it's Jono here from ECom X SEO.

In this video, I'm just going to provide a bit of an update on one of our recommended and favorite Shopify apps. Being AMP for Shopify by Shop Sheriff. Just quickly though, if you haven't subscribed to our channel, a YouTube channel, hit the subscribe button so you can get updated on when new videos are posted. We try and post videos every week, normally a couple of times a week. And also, head on over to our private Facebook group where you can answer a couple of questions. We will let you in and then there's a great discussion on Shopify SEO over there as well.

Now as I mentioned, one of our favorite apps for Shopify, and certainly for organic optimization of Shopify, is AMP, or Shopify for AMP by Shop Sheriff. If you haven't used AMP on your Shopify store, I encourage you to do so. Certainly when you use an app like this where the free version of the app allows you to have AMP on all your product pages, and then if you upgrade, you can then add AMP to your collection pages and your homepage and other pages. We certainly generally have AMP on all our collection pages and product pages. And if you don't know what AMP is, you can certainly just Google what AMP is, but it stands for Accelerated Mobile Pages. It's a endorsed Google technology where, essentially, content from your store on a mobile device is served by Google itself. So they take that content, it's on their own servers, and they serve that content to use at lightning fast speeds.

We like it because, obviously, you get good customer experience because it's lightning fast. But also, anytime we add AMP to our stores, we get a rankings increase, and not only just on our mobile pages, but across the store. Where you're endorsing a Google feature, generally, you get nice boost to your rankings and your performance. Now, not everyone is a fan of AMP, and there's some issues around should you be allowing Google to use your content, et cetera? That's fine, I understand the arguments, but we simply use what works, and AMP works through our stores and our client stores. And like I said, when there's a free app like this on the free version, it's a no-brainer to do it. But I just wanted to update you on some of the new integrations they've got now, which is what we've sort of been waiting on. These guys are really good at... The developers, they just continue to upgrade and bring in more features, and it's now, by far, in a way, the best AMP that we find in the Shopify App Store.

So you can see all the integrations now. You've got your analytics, your tag manager, and your Facebook pixel, which were always there, but now they're in this dashboard here. And with all these integrations, you can just contact the developers and ask them, and they'll get back to you and see whether they can actually include an integration for you. A really cool option now are your product reviews. So if you have product reviews or using a product review app, up until now, you had to contact the AMP developers and they would integrate them for you manually. But now that there's integrations, it does it automatically. So all the most popular product review apps, and then you're going to have your structured markup and snippets on your AMP pages. And, obviously, you're got to be able to show your star reviews on your AMP pages as well.

And then if we scroll on down, we've got a custom CSS app, which is pretty cool for anyone who wants to work with CSS on their pages. And then some other app integrations, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, et cetera, which are all handy and certainly are going to make sure your AMP page is just a little more user friendly.

In one of the last videos I did on Shop Sheriff AMP, they've now got this visual editor. It just works pretty well the same as Shopify itself, so the learning curves not very steep at all anymore. Create Full E-Commerce Funnels In Shopify With FunnelBuildr

Hey guys, it's john here from economics SEO. In this video, I'm going to do a bit of a walkthrough of a pretty cool software or platform that we've been using. And interestingly, I don't think it's all that well known yet. It has had some teething problems in the past because what they're trying to do is actually quite, quite unique, even other strategies. Very well known the idea of building a funnel for your a console or landing pages and a and a funnel.

Lucky would with Click Funnels, as always been a little bit tricky to do with Shopify. But funnel builder is a is an app that you install on your Shopify store and you can actually build funnels for any econ any any product in your ecommerce store.

Very, very similar to Click Funnels. The great thing is to integrate seamlessly into your Shopify store. When orders come through via the funnel, the orders are synced to your Shopify store. And they just come through as per normal. There's a number of really good features. And recently in the last couple of months, I believe funnel builder has actually been acquired by optimized who themselves a very well known in the Shopify market due to themes and some apps and get just a really good, really good company that does well. So I'm sure that they've acquired funnel builder and they'll just continue to do the good work that's already been done and build on the features. So I'm just going to go through what it is and a bit of a demo and how it works.

At the end of the video, you can click through and actually check out the self sales page here the app, but I'm going to actually walk through the platform itself. So once you've you've installed the app, and you've you've selected your package, I think the as I said, we'll get through the pricing later. But the for the basic version, you actually get 50 free cat completions with the free app and to upgrade so it's actually a really good way of getting in for free and start using it and then it pays for itself essentially from your from your sales. So this is the back end of it. And basically, like I said, it just works similar to Click Funnels and just in terms of the setup.

So if you've worked with Click Funnels before, this will be relatively easy to get your head around, but it's really simple. You've got your dashboard, then you build pages. So you can click for two pages here and these are the different pages. You can You can create, then you've got the actual funnels that you've created performance, which is like stats, and you've got some settings here. So your general settings, checkout setting, thank you page, etc. Just go back to the dashboard. So these are some of the pages I've built. So if we just click through to go to Edit here, and you can see a page that I've created. So what it does, we might go through creating a new page, but I'm going to show you how it works. But you give that the page name, then you give it a title, and you click Next. And here's where you can add your product.

So when you're creating a new page, it'll ask you to select a product say select a product as a pool that all that data in from Shopify, which is really cool, give it a slug, and then you can proceed to editor and bear in mind this is a page you have already created. So as you can see, we've just got a drag and drop interface. And you can build out exactly how you want if you want to add a new element block down you have the all the element What's up, pop up pop out here, very similar Click Funnels and you've got all your section you can add in. So if we just wanted to add a headline in there, it just throws in a new headline section here. And then you can whoops. And then you've got your headline here and you can edit however you want, just like it would normally.

So we'll just remove that because this is a live live page. Yeah, and you can build out you've got your Add To Cart buttons just like in Click Funnels, edit the information in here with your drag and drop, set up, scroll on down, you can build out a full landing page. It's got a lot of different features, custom scripts, in SEO settings, all the rest. It's gotten their discounts you can auto add products. You can have a pop up for just got a preview we can have a look what the page actually looks like. So here's a page here, Live Preview.

Okay, we just got back to the dashboard. And you can build out you know, and your extra pages when you create them and ask ski really, you know, you want the that to be a landing page or a checkout page. This just do a test page here.

The next we just got choose a product that'll do, click Create Page, then it gives you a number of different templates you can use here, or you can build them from scratch. So discrete product page, but a build and he creates a template and then you can change the template however you want. So that's pretty cool. Got up cells and as the checkout page, so really quite simple to use. So once once you've actually completed building out and I'll show you just this, this example here of a funnel we've got running. So if we click on View, and this is natural live page.

So if we add the cat and then it'll go through to an upsell. And we can choose whether you want the upsell or not. Or No thanks. We'll choose the upsell. It takes us through to a checkout page. Just like again just like very similar to what you get with Click Funnels and then you can order it integrates with PayPal stripe with your credit card processes, etc. So all that integrated, you can integrate it with What's your email marketing software? At the moment, the I think the only email marketing software you can integrate with is MailChimp.

But then what you do, you can run a Zapier or a zap from MailChimp to say, caviar Active Campaign or any other email marketing software you're using. So it's got another, some other really cool features. So you can actually decide whether you want, they can go through the funnel and then go to the standard Shopify checkout that you've already got set up. So it sort of looks like it's your, your Shopify store as they come through the checkout. So that goes with the landing page using the funnel app, and then at the checkout, it's actually the Shopify checkout.

But you can optimize a lot further with the funnel builder checkout. So there's that you can get all the tracking information here a facebook pixel, etc. integrate your email marketing, as I mentioned, some other information here. Now this cool section here what the Activate Shopify landing page. What this means is What you can do is you can have your Shopify as boost and say drive all your traffic to your standard Shopify product pages. And then if someone clicks, add to cart or purchase now, what you can do is in direct them with this option here, direct them to, say an upsell or cross sell or just the next page in the funnel. So you can run them through from your, from your product page and Shopify through a funnel.

So you've got two options, you can either send your traffic directly to the funnel, build app landing page and run them through the funnel that way, and you still get all your sales through Shopify, or you can run all your traffic to your standard Shopify product page, and then they go through the funnel, once you've clicked through there, so it gives you a number of different options. What we're actually doing is running, running both so we're running a standard Shopify store, and we're running final build apps so we can we can do our split testing, etc. So once you've actually created your pages, here's where you actually build your funnel. So you've got the landing page, really simple say choose which One.

And you can you can add lucky you can split test so you can add another page and run, say 100% of the traffic to that one page or you can split test and run 50% one page 50% of the other so it's got all split split testing options there as well. Then we've got the upsell page are valid here, then they go to the checkout and the night you run them to a thank you page. And he can you can adjust your URLs if you're going to use them for SEO purposes, final title or your tracking code, etc. and everything else you need.

Like I said, if you click the link and come through to the actual get funnel build up page, you can see the pricing here. So if we get a pricing, it's free. Free with all these options here. So you get 50 checkout per month and then once you're past 50 checkouts in a last year, upgrade all your IP over use it for the until the month runs out.

Then you've and you can only have one Store and then the you've got these other monthly options here up the free stores and and unlimited checkouts so really really cool software it's only going to I think become more prominent, more popular and the quality is going to go through the roof and customer service etc is really good now Shopify shop demise actually owning the software. So it's pretty because it's free up to 50 Checkout, it's a no brainer, especially if you're serious about your Shopify store.

It's a no brainer that you grab this, install it and start testing running some traffic through your through a funnel, whether it's from your Shopify landing page or creating a landing page and dedicated for the funnel. New SEO Software – PageOptimizer Pro – Quick Review And Walk Through

Just want to quickly in this video this morning, you’re talking about a relatively relatively new tool we’ve been using in our agency for our clients and our own sites, probably for the last six months or so. And it continues to improve and the guys behind it serious,

serious gurus and SEO experts, and it’s also got a fantastic community behind it. It’s called page optimizer Pro. And essentially what it is, is a tool that you can use competitor analysis to optimize your on page for any site. And the way it works is you basically put your, your keyword in that you’re trying to rank for, you put your site in, and then also you ask it to go and scan competitors and you can also manually add competitors in so for example, that would be let’s say trying to rank for

Word and you go to the first page of Google and you would identify competitors, say your blog, for example, or a blog for your e commerce store, you put your competitors in. And that might be blogs that are similar to yours on the first page. Or it might even be

other ecommerce stores you can you can put in, and then you let it do its job and and scan all the data and then it pulls back a matrix of results and data and gives you recommendations on how to match or as closely match to your competitors as possible. And it works really well. It’s really simple to use. And the great thing is you start to get results and things do start to pop when you when you use this tool properly. Firstly also get a free trial. So that’s really cool. And then you pay on a credit basis. The other cool thing is if we scroll down to the bottom and we go to accredited agencies, and we were lucky enough to be approved as a an accredited agency,

And yeah, it’s one of those one of those rare tools that comes along that actually does what it says it will. So I’ve just logged into the back end, just give me two seconds ago, I’ve logged into the back end of the project. There’s a little bit more information to the left of the screen, but I can’t show you that because there are clients so just keep keep it

private for them. But here are the projects after you put your details in. It’s really simple to actually run a project or market back in will do that.

Before we look at this, so Vic, we’ve created a new project of just use the women shoes keyword and just picked out a site that was on page, bottom of page two in Google, or Google Australia. We let it run and do its thing.

Ask us a few questions, we can firm it.

Okay, then it brings us to this page and we’re going to create a

new page for this project.

I’m gonna put the keywords in so it’s women shoes.

Next, can I select our language and our region, Australia.

Just some other options here. You can use the Google la NLP API, if you have the pro account and some other information, but we can just let it run as it is now.

That also comes with a Chrome extension. And if we click next using Chrome extension, what it does is it opens up and we can’t say there on the other screen but it opens up all the competitors on the first page for that particular term in that region and it just runs through

the process. So just let that run then we’ll come back. Okay, it’s ran the scrape and then it asks whether we’re going to we can add missing keyword vape variations. So these are all the ones that were already added and then we can

add more if we want. I’m just gonna lay the variations for what the poor the tool actually pulled back. Then we go next.

And then do we want the specific page we want to optimize and we do we want the women shoes

asks if you’ve built the page of time page or source code. So that’s page one run, who click Next. And then now we can. This is where we select which

competitors we want to use. So these are all on the first page. And the reason you can do this is you might sort of exclude say, a directory, or something that’s not exactly related to, to what you want.

Then we ran, and it always gives you tips and ideas and there’s some really good tutorial videos how to use it properly. So I’m just doing a quick run through to give the idea the concept. So we’ll let that run now.

Let’s go to select all these again.

And submit

Okay, so let’s run the the data and the report and then it pulls back and gives you an overall score and an adjusted score. Now, I’m not going to go through what each of them are, but what we can do in this in this video, but all we can do is just go to the View Report.

And then what you can see it does and pulls back recommendations. So it uses this little color bar here to give you an understanding of where it’s sitting. And obviously, you’d want to be in the green section.

But if you go to each third to summary, you go to each of the recommendations and it gives you really in depth information about what you should change. So the meta title, add one exact key word in your meta title of the page. page one add one exact keyword in the h1 of your page.

And then always

further recommendation and gives then also for variations in la si variations, keywords

Gives you a lots and lots of door, lots and lots of data page structure. So you can sort of break it down into the sections you want.

Even goes as deep as schema, which is really, really cool.

And then

the rest of these were for the agency plans.

So then what you’re going to do you use these these to actually adjust your page, and then you can rerun, and it’ll give you that new score. And we’re seeing some really good results. We’re still testing

on a number of different sites and types of sites, so local sites, ecommerce stores, blogs, etc. And it really we find it really works well for the page level. So if you’ve got an e commerce blog, for example, and you’re trying to push a bit of relevance and traffic to your product, and you’re using that blog posts to actually

to actually

Push a product and you’ve got that keyword in mind then you can actually optimize that blog post quite with quite in depth research to give you the structure you need.
